Bought myself a new toy to take on the upcoming trip to the Alps, A Drift Innovation X170. It’s the cheaper of the headcams that Drift Innovation do (they also do some HD models) but I didn’t have that much cash to spare and my pc has trouble running HD footage, so I figured the basic model would be a better choice. It’s a little bigger than I thought it would be but seems pretty robust and simple to use, and there’s a decent amount of mounting options included in the box to get me started.
Hopefully I should be able to get some footage this weekend to see how it looks and performs in the field so keep an eye on this space.
